ELECTRIC cars are being refuelled in the streets of Brighton and Hove using the first charging points outside London. Points are sited in Bartholomews in the city centre and Ditchling Road, near The Level.

Prime minister David Cameron announced on Friday that carbon emissions from central government will be cut by 10% in the next 12 months, the most ambitious commitment on UK government emissions ever made.
